Finally, why the name? When we started our company in 1997, the world was in the midst of the original dotcom boom. New companies were starting with names like Yahoo, Google, and Amazon. We didn't want a techy name. After a long brainstorming session from our then 27 year old brains, we came up with Tubesock. Easy to remember and just strange enough to fit a technology company.
